A little about me: I grew up in Carlsbad and have spent my life moving between Carlsbad and Vista. I have always had a passion for science, which led me to earn a master’s degree in biotechnology. For the past six years, I have worked in the life sciences industry, where I have enjoyed contributing to groundbreaking research and development and vital biologic production. Despite my busy schedule, I always made time to explore and attend local events, as I love being involved in our vibrant community.

Now, as a mother to a wonderful baby girl, my priorities have shifted from being strongly career-oriented to wanting to spend as much time with my family as possible. I am excited to embark on this new journey where I can balance my passion for the Carlsbad-Encinitas-Solana Beach area with my dedication to family. Through Macaroni KID, I look forward to sharing all the exciting and fun activities our area has to offer, from family-friendly events to hidden local gems.

Fun fact: I met my husband during a live music event at Coyote Bar and Grill right here in Carlsbad! Needless to say, local events have a special place in my heart.
