Fourth of July Fun Guide

Here's a quick list for local Fourth of July fun for our Macaroni Kid families. Whether you want to stay in North County or head down to San Diego Bay- Macaroni Kid has you covered!

La Costa Resort

La Costa Resort wants to make your Independence Day a boomin' event with a ton of fun planned on site for the holiday weekend. They suggest you head over to FunTopia, La Costa’s family poolside party for kid-friendly fun. The Plaza will be lined with food trucks 􀀿offering delicious local cuisine. More fun for the adults would be to stop by their 21+ infinity pool during Edge Day Club. Kids are encouraged to create fun arts & 􀀿crafts at Kidtopia Swim and play while enjoying feature films during Dive-In Movies. 


Guests can watch a spectacular fireworks 􀀿show over the golf course. See resort schedule for all activities and map for firework viewing locations. Locals may want to consider booking a staycation.

Legoland

LEGOLAND® will have a a star-spangled Fourth of July celebration, Red, White and BOOM!

There will be fireworks set to a patriotic musical tribute with great viewing in designated locations throughout the Park. Throughout the day there will be multiple performances. Families can meet their favorite LEGO® Friends and Characters, and participate in picnic games, such as a water-balloon toss, burlap sack races, the Family Build Challenge and LEGO Hamburger relay.

The celebration is 1:00pm to 9:00pm with fireworks at 8:30pm. All Red, White and BOOM activities are included in the cost of admission to LEGOLAND California.

Oceanside Parade

The 23rd Annual Oceanside Independence Parade is on July 1, 2017. The parade marches up Coast Highway from Wisconsin Street to Pier View Way. First unit steps off at 10:00 a.m. 

San Diego County Fair

The Del Mar Fairgrounds will host fireworks at 9pm. Free with cost of admission. 2260 Jimmy Durante Blvd. Del Mar, Ca 92014 Location: Heineken Grandstand Stage 

Big Bay Boom!

The Big Bay Boom July 4th Fireworks Show promises another spectacular display over San Diego Bay. The amazing display is planned to last approximately 17 minutes. To accommodate the large crowd expected on San Diego Bay this Fourth of July, the Port of San Diego has set up free parking lots with shuttle service to Harbor Island and Shelter Island.

SeaWorld 4th of July Fireworks

SeaWorld will celebrate Independence Day with a 15-minute display of fireworks set to a musical soundtrack, starting at 9:40 PM on July 4. Park hours on the Fourth will be 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
