SoCal’s beloved springtime attraction, The Flower Fields, is now OPEN at Carlsbad Ranch®. Macaroni Kid Carlsbad had a special sneak peek at their new attractions! It was awe inspiring and a memorable colorful treat for not only myself but my little guy. He loved the view, tractor ride and the awesome scavenger hunt! Extra bonus if your kiddo completes the scavenger hunt they will get a dollar off the mining booth.
The coveted tractor ride provides an unbelievable scene. The tractor rides are ran by the Antique Gas & Steam Engine Museum, riders get to hear the whole history of the flower fields along the way. The rainbow of Tecolote ranunculus grace the 50 acres of rolling hillsides that overlook the Pacific Ocean, making it the ultimate flower paradise. It was a clear day and it was ridiculously ranunculus-ly AMAZING! This was my son's very favorite.
The Flower Fields has a number of new renovations and must-see additions this season. The new beautiful wedding venue space and fountains is a MUST SEE! Such a gorgeous space for any special occasion. Our family is looking forward to the evenings full of food trucks options on their new patio and picnic area. They also will be offering wine nights. YES, wine and beautiful views! Here are a few more additions:

- New pathways at the acclaimed sweet pea maze
- Hands-on workshops featuring art, basket, and gardening
classes in new greenhouses

Special Events

Evening in Full Bloom
This is an extraordinary opportunity to dine under the stars amidst a sea of blooming ranunculus flowers. Guests can take in the unparalleled beautify of one of SoCal’s most historic working flower farms and a breath-taking 360-degree view of a spectacular sunset.
The Fashion, Flowers & Fido Show
Back again by popular demand, this dog-friendly event features a unique fashion show catered to those who enjoy designer brands, doggie dates, and the rush of the runway. The event supports Simon Youth Foundation, The Flower Fields Foundation, and Rancho Coastal Humane Society.
There are so many special events to choose from. This North County jewel is such a treat for all ages. There is also a small playgound for kids to enjoy while parents sit back and take inthe view.
