This season brings with it an ever growing list of Fall Festivals and celebrations the whole family can enjoy!

Fort Cross Old Timey Adventures, Julian- Julian Autumn Jubilee October 5th-27th
Hayrides, Hoedowns, Jug Band Show, U-Pick Garden & Pumpkin Patch, Ghost Town Slingshot Range, Archery, Tomahawk Throwing, Petting Zoo, Reptile Show, Candle Dipping, Pumpkin Painting, Fairy & Dino Garden Making, Hay Fort, Games, and more! Free Admission.


Belmont Park, San Diego- Beachside Fall Fest, All October & November

Beachside Fall Fest is BACK for guests of all ages in October & November. The magic of the season will transform our seaside park into a festive fall experience with FREE activities like trick-or-treating, live entertainment, costume contests, themed rides & attractions, kids’ activities and more. 


Palomar Pumpkin Palooza, Carlsbad- Movie Night at the Patch Every Friday & Saturday at 7:30 PM

FREE event; open to the public! Bring your family and friends to a night at the pumpkin patch. Food and drinks are allowed to bring in and set up a blanket and chairs for a movie under the stars.

Holiday Park, CarlsbadCarlsbad Rotary 37th Annual Oktoberfest & Fall Family Festival October 5
Plenty to do for kids and adults alike: new costume contests, music, arts & crafts, games, rides, and of course - good times with family and friends! Featuring authentic German meals, along with a few new choices this year. Plus apple strudel, and food booths galore which will satisfy your palette! Free admission for ages 9 and under.

Del Mar Fairgrounds, Del Mar- 2019 Del Mar Harvest Festival Original Art and Craft Show October 11-13

Shop hundreds of artisans of American handmade and embellished art & crafts featuring photography, fine jewelry, specialty food, blown glass, wood art, metalwork and more! This Kid-Friendly event will also include activities for children.  Three days for the price of one ticket - you won't find a better bargain!

Vista Library, Vista- Fall Festival 2019 October 12

Come and enjoy food, entertainment, carnival games, crafts, and learning modules provided by the San Diego Children's Discovery Museum. Special guests include the Bayou Brothers (Zydeco Band) and the Palomar Square Dance Association. There is something for the entire family!

San Marcos Chamber of Commerce, San Marcos- Fall Festival and Street Fair October 13

An estimated 15,000 in attendance, this San Marcos signature event features displays from more than 200 local artisans/crafters, retailers, and nationwide vendors. The community enjoys a beautiful day of great shopping; entertainment for the kids at the Grand Kid's Fest inside the fair with inflatables and carnival rides; live local bands on the Beer and Wine Garden Stage; and Kids performances on the Family Entertainment Stage. Fair-goers feast on delicious culinary creations from a variety of food vendors all along Via Vera Cruz in San Marcos. 


Alta Vista Botanical Gardens, Vista- Fall Fun Festival October 12

We will be celebrating Fall with a scarecrow contest, crafts, games, music, and best of all, the event is FREE!

Aquatic Center at Alga Norte Community Park, Carlsbad- Pumpkin Plunge October 19

The swimming pool will be transformed into a floating pumpkin patch where each child can catch and leave with a pumpkin. Enjoy other fun and spooky activities including diving for treasures, collecting bones, catching mutant fish and more. As the sun goes down, finish the night off with a special presentation of the movie, Spookly the Square Pumpkin (rated G), on the giant outdoor movie screen. Cost is $10 per person. Children ages 3 and under are FREE. 


Downtown Fallbrook, Fallbrook- Fallbrook Harvest Festival October 20

San Dieguito County Park, Del Mar- San Dieguito Fall Festival October 26
Experience the fall season close to the coast! Try your luck to win prizes in our games, get your face painted or paint your own pumpkin masterpiece. Absorb the beauty of the fall foliage while drinking coffee or cider. We'll have critter camp set up so you can meet our pets and discover wildlife from the area. There will be fun picture opportunities, too! Costumes are encouraged. All ages are welcome, and there’s no cost to attend – but parking is $3 per vehicle. This fee supports park maintenance and the continuation of community activities, like this one.


The Foundry Community Church, Escondido- Harvest Festival at the Foundry October 26
The Foundry Community Church and A Place of Our Own Child Development Center are hosting this year's Harvest Festival. FREE EVENT FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY. We will have: Trunk-or-Treat (contest with cash prize), Jumpers, Face Painting, Glitter Tattoos, Games and Prizes, Raffle and Food for Sale.Everyone is welcome!

Welcome to the 20th annual visit of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth Gloriana, to the Shire of Escondido. She has come to pay us a visit, and invites you to come join with her!  To pay homage to Her Majesty, the faire is filled with vendors of strange and fascinating wares, lively entertainers, a kid zone,  and the encampments of the many Guilds who are visiting our beautiful village.
