It is already the week of Thanksgiving. While Thanksgiving may be different than any other year we can always find things we are grateful for. Our families mean the world to us and it is during this difficult time that each of us has more time to spend with them and really be in the moment. I have been playing a lot of games, we have been gathering around the kitchen table for more meals together, we have shared more about our days with each other, we have slowed down some to really enjoy life. While at times it has been extremely stressful, I can ALWAYS find something good in the situation. I start and end the day with a gratitude journal entry. 2 things that I am grateful for and 2 things in the evening. Give it a try because I have found that it definitely brings me happiness. ~JL

Hi, I'm Erika. I'm originally from New England and moved to Carlsbad almost two years ago. My family and I are enjoying the weather, laid back beach community and lots of family fun here. When I am not watching my son's hockey games, listening to my daughter's choir, you will find me exploring tidepools at the beach with my kindergartner.
Hi, I'm Jodi. I am the mom to 3 adults (1 son and 2 daughters), 2 grandsons and 2 dogs (a Labradoodle-Jeter and a Goldendoodle-Diggs). I love spending time with them and you can typically find us together playing Cribbage or Carbles on the weekends. I am a hockey mom through and through. I have been to many states traveling with my family to watch my kids/grandkids play hockey, I love to support my kids and I love all the fun local events. I look forward to helping Erika.
