We are so lucky that that there are so many fun events in our community. This week starts "Flicks at the Fountain" at Carlsbad Village on July 22, 29 and August 5, 12. The movie starts at 8 pm or whenever it gets dark enough to start viewing. Bring your lawn chair or blanket early to hold your spot. You can read more about it HERE. Also tis week in Carlsbad is the Carlsbad Village Street Faire-Summer Edition on July 25 from 8 am - 5 pm.
Encinitas Historical Society offers Walking Historic Tours. Read more about this great activity HERE. While you are there here is an update on the local restaurants in Encinitas.
Don't miss "Concerts at the Cove" in Solana Beach. Concerts will be held every Thursday night throughout the summer from July 15 to August 26, from 6:00pm to 7:45pm. You can read more about it HERE.
We have information regarding food for families in need. Feeding San Diego is holding a large scale food distribution, July 28, 2021 at The Shoppes of Carlsbad were tey will provide 50 pounds of much-needed food assistance to hundreds of households, including local military families.

Hi, I'm Erika. I'm originally from New England and moved to Carlsbad almost 5 years ago. My family and I are enjoying the weather, laid back beach community and lots of family fun here. When I am not watching my son's hockey games, or dance routines, you will find me exploring tidepools at the beach with my family.
Hi, I'm Jodi. I am the mom to 3 adults (1 son and 2 daughters), 2 grandsons and 2 dogs (a Labradoodle-Jeter and a Goldendoodle-Diggs). I love spending time with them and you can typically find us together playing Cribbage or Carbles on the weekends. I am a hockey mom through and through. I have been to many states traveling with my family to watch my kids/grandkids play hockey, I love to support my kids and I love all the fun local events. I really enjoy my job with Macaroni Kid.
