Our family took advantage of the offer and had a great time staying poolside at Cape Rey Resort. Our family and friends shared a comfortable lux cabana. Fresh fruit, cold sodas and waters all came with the cost of the reservation. There is a large comfortable seating area with personal towels and plush pillows for optimal lounging. My kids couldn’t believe there was a TV mounted inside the cabana to enjoy after a break from the sun. The views were great from inside your personal retreat. There is the large pool, baby pool, hot tub, gorgeous landscape and the blue Pacific Ocean.
We had our own lounge, mini fridge and the option to open or close the cabana for more privacy. We had a friendly attentive server who took our lunch orders right at our door.
Poolside food service is ideal for a family that is busy lathering on sunscreen, chaperoning potty breaks and keeping their eyes are little swimmers. The menu offered kid meals and delicious entrees and fantastic adult beverages. I highly recommend the carnitas tacos and margarita!
Cape Rey Carlsbad, a Hilton Resort offers a great staycation option for locals. Our family was treated like royalty, enjoyed the vast pool and amenities only a few minutes from our home! Next stop for me will be the onsite Ocean Crest Spa!
