Families will LOVE the family friendly resort activities that Omni La Costa in Carlsbad has to offer. The resort is geared to both children and their parents. With 8 pools, many dining options, golf tennis, world renowned SPA and a kids club, your family can choose your fun and not have to even leave the resort. The Omni La Costa resort is conveniently located to pristine beaches and Legoland.
Each day there are many activities for the family. We started our day off with the younger kids splashing and riding the family friendly waterslides. The kids LOVED the pool and we loved relaxing in the loungers while we watched them. Our Teens headed off to the arcade and then had a few tennis matches. The pools are pristine and the open area is the perfect backdrop for a day of fun. The adult pool is a treat, The backdrop is a gorgeous vie of the gold course. I loved sitting in the stark white decorated loungers and tile. The deck had a splash of turquoise. The ambiance was soothing and relaxing to say the least.
We ate a VUE where the dining was outside, and an open concept which was perfect for a family of five. We like to laugh and talk and because of the open air, I was not nervous that my kids were too loud. The menu had a vast selection from local ceviche to bacon mac and cheese. One of our favorite activities was the Nighttime S’more Roasting. The kids loved roasted the smores over the fire. It was my version of a pleasurable camping activity without the mess and stress that comes with camping!
Next time we visit we will be sure to take advantage of the Kidtopia and have some relaxing adult time at the Spa! Omni La Costa is a dream staycation right here in North County San Diego and there is no doubt, we will be back.
