1. U-Pick Strawberries at the Carlsbad Strawberry Company
Spend some time with Dad outside and pick your own strawberries at the Carlsbad Strawberry Company! Open for a limited time every year, this is one of Carlsbad's biggest attractions. $10 gets you into the gorgeous fields, and $15 gets you entrance plus as many strawberries as you can fit into a bucket. Bounce houses for the kids, food and drink for Dad. Petting zoo for the whole family. All week, June 9 - 16th
Going out is overrated. If you're looking to make a nice meal for your family this weekend, stop by one of the local street fairs to pick up some fresh foods or even a gift for Dad. 3. Avian Adventure Day at the Agua Hedionda Lagoon
Another outdoor adventure where you can take the whole family to meet some friendly birds of prey. A little birdie tells me that Fathers may be allowed to hold one of the birds... Sunday, June 16th
This is a once a year, FREE concert slash surf contest slash beach day rolled up into one event! Grammy award winning band SWITCHFOOT will be headlining, and a few pro surfers have been known to attend. This is not an event to miss; bring the whole family! Saturday, June 15th
5. Father's Day at Coastline Church
Father's Day is on Sunday - so if you're looking for a fun church service to attend, Coastline Church is going to have food and games all day this Father's Day. Attractions include a mechanical bull and obstacle course. Sunday, June 16th
