The restructured market provides an open-air, socially distanced and cart-free alternative to traditional grocery shopping in Downtown Oceanside.
When visiting, please follow these rules. They will keep the market open:
- Wear a mask. A mask is required for everyone.
- Follow directions from the market docents. They are helping us keep the market safe and open.
- Engage in no-touch shopping. Please point to the item you want to purchase, and the farmers and vendors will bag your produce and products for you.
- Avoid unnecessary physical contact. Please do not shake hands.
- Utilize cashless payments. These are strongly preferred.
- Practice social distancing. Please ensure you are staying a minimum of 6 feet from other people. We are enforcing this requirement.
- Get what you want and head home. We welcome you to the market and encourage you to get what you need, and then head home so others can use the market.
- Send a single shopper. To minimize the number of people on-site, please send only one member of your family attend the market.
- Wash your hands. Please utilize the hand-washing stations placed throughout the venue.
