From November 18 through January 1, Lightscape illuminates evenings at San Diego Botanic Garden with more than one million holiday lights, tunnels, fire, sculptures and artistic installations. Following sold-out runs in the world’s largest cities, including London, Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York, Lightscape arrives at our 37-acre garden in Encinitas for the holiday season. Set along a beautifully illuminated, one-mile walking trail custom-designed for SDBG, Lightscape features spectacular artistic installations that come to life after dark with color, imagination, and sound. The six week run starts the weekend before Thanksgiving and continues through New Year’s Day.

Tickets are required for admittance, with entry times available every 15 minutes from 5:00 to 8:30 pm. The average tour time from start to finish is 1.5 hours, although there is no time limit. The Garden closes at 10 pm.
